Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Bone Thugs Tour comin' to Australia
Andrew McManus Presents, in conjunction with Arnette, is thrilled to announce that it’s all systems go for Snoop Dogg’s Australian tour!
After granting a provisional visa several weeks ago, the Immigration Department has now completed their review and granted the full Visa, confirming the legendary rapper’s tour can proceed, kicking off at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on October 29
Tickets for the “The West Coast Originals Tour” will be on sale at 9am Wednesday September 17 from www.ticketek.com.au & 132 849.
Promoter Andrew McManus said: “I’m pleased the Immigration Department approval has come through and Snoop’s tour can go ahead as planned. This will be great news for fans all over Australia.”
Reaction to the announcement that Snoop is finally returning to Australia has been massive and tickets are expected to sell fast.
Joining him is one of the most important and influential figures in rap history, the legendary Ice Cube. Grammy Award-winning rappers Bone Thugs n Harmony are also along for the ride making this an absolute essential show for any hip hop fan!
Snoop is a rare exception in the turbulent world of hip-hop. In a genre where big names come and go just as fast as hit records, Snoop Dogg has managed to stay amazingly relevant throughout his 16-plus years in the game, and continues to re-defy the rap game on a regular basis. From music to movies, video games to clothing lines and now his own hit TV show on ‘E! - Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood’, Snoop is truly a household name.
With nine Grammy nominations, and a massive amount of MTV, Billboard, MOBO, BET, American Music Awards and heaps more under his belt, his longevity can easily be credited to his musical creativity, which continues on his most recent album ‘Ego Trippin’, released in March through Universal Music.
Ice Cube is recognised as one of the most important figures in rap history – period. Bone Thugs n Harmony have sold 10 million records with their first 2 albums in the mid 90’s and won a Grammy Award with their #1 single and hip hop classic, ‘Tha Crossroads’. The guys recently won Favourite Rap Band at the American Music Awards in 2007 after the release of their latest album ‘Strength & Loyalty’ which is a testament to their continued popularity.
