Tupac Shakur's virtual appearances at the Coachella Music Festival (April 15 and 22) spurs a gain for his on-stage duet partner, Snoop Dogg, on the Billboard Social 50 chart this week. The Social 50 chart ranks the most popular artists on YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, using a formula that blends weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with weekly artist page views and weekly song plays. A video of the performance, which was first released April 17 under Snoop Dogg's official YouTube channel, "GGN: Double G Hood News," has since gained over 3.5 million views, helping Snoop rocket his way up the Social 50 from No. 29 to No. 20. (2Pac, however, doesn't appear on the Social 50 as the popular clip was loaded to Snoop's official YouTube channel, not 2Pac's, hence the growth for Tha Doggfather.)

With the smoker's holiday 4/20 right around the corner, rap icon, Snoop Dogg is releasing his "Stoner's EP", a 10 track-digital EP featuring previously unreleased tracks.  The project features exclusive tracks from Snoop Dogg, along with guest appearances from Tha Dogg Pound, Hustle Boyz, Chris Starr, and Ndastree.

The lead track off the EP, "Stoner's Anthem", was released in March and today, we are releasing one more track, "Breathe It In", produced by Snoop himself under his producer moniker, Niggaracci.  The entire "Smoker's EP" officially drops on April 20 (4/20)

Additional production on the EP came from Battlecat, Terrace Martin, 1500 Or Nothin', Josef Leimberg and more.  This EP is the first release under Snoop Dogg's new digital distribution label GGOD (Gangsta Gangsta Online Distribution)
